From the time Comateens were formed in 1978 to their last Album in 1991, their music was issued on sixty different products.

This was a period of change in the recording industry, old formats faded away and new ones emerged. Their work was released on a wide range of media; hand-cut lacquers, vinyl LPs, 45s, 8-track tapes, cassettes and CDs. The videos have been available on VHS, Beta and DVD.
